Children’s book author of Really, Really Like Me and public speaker, Gretchen Leary, will be sharing pieces of her story from a first hand experience as an individual on the Autism Spectrum. She will be sharing her coping skills and what has helped her before and after her diagnosis of Asperger’s Syndrome.
She would also like to include a couple of guest speakers from the community (Parents, individuals on the Spectrum, experts etc.) to share something positive and inspiring. If you are interested in sharing your story please send an email to gretchenleary@yahoo.com to discuss.
The goal of this event is to acknowledge our challenges in our community but highlight what inspires us, embrace what gives us hope, and to bring a sense of unity to the Autism Community.
