Waltham Opens Some Heat Relief Parks

Looking to stay cool? Head to one of the city's spray parks

Waltham residents now have another way to beat the heat — the city’s spray parks are opening early.

According to office, the city’s four spray parks are opening now, due to the high temperatures. Several other parks will open near the end of the month.

Warrendale (90 Charlotte Rd.) and (3 Hazel. St.)

Monday – Friday: 3 – 7 p.m.

Saturdays: 10 a.m. — 3 p.m.

Sundays: 12 – 5 p.m.

Lowell Field (190 Grove St.) and McDonald Playground (8 Cutter St.)

Monday – Friday: 12 – 7 p.m.

Saturdays:  10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Sundays: 12 – 5 p.m.

The parks are unsupervised and open only with permitting weather.
