More Snow Forecasted For Waltham; Low Temperatures

The storm had dumped 11 inches of snow on Waltham by the end of Feb. 8.

After a day of snow in Waltham, the major snowstorm in Waltham is forecasted to continue for much of the day. 

According to WCVB-TV, by Friday Feb. 9, snowfall totals will likely total 18 -24 inches but 30 inches is possible in Waltham. The National Weather Service forecasted a high of 21 degrees with a wind chill factor of -3 degrees. Waltham will see winds of up to 26 miles per hour.

By 11 p.m. on Feb. 8, 11 inches had fallen in Waltham near Veterans Rink, according to City Councilor Ken Doucette.

As of 11 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 8, NStar was reporting 648 Waltham customers without power.
