Get Out: A Comedy Show, Concerts, and Dancing With The Stars

• Where/When: First Parish of Watertown, 35 Church St., Watertown, Friday, 8 p.m.
• Why Go: Massachusetts native Jimmy Tingle performs in the season finale of the Tremedal Concerts fundraiser series at First Parish.  Come enjoy an evening of laughs with this master comedian and wordsmith. 
• Pricing: $25

• Where/When: Hovey Players, 9 Spring St., Waltham, Friday and Saturday, 8 p.m. and Sunday, 2 p.m.
• Why Go: It's opening weekend for the Hovey Players newest production: Noel Coward’s classic comedy “Private Lives.”  Complimentary refreshments and dishes donated by Baan Thai Restaurant will be served following Friday’s performance.
• Pricing: $16, $14 seniors and students.

• Where/When: St. James Armenian Apostolic Church, 465 Mt. Auburn St., Watertown, Saturday, 8 p.m.-12 a.m.
• Why Go: Take a swing dance lesson from 8 p.m.-9 p.m., then dance the night away to the Swing Out Big Band, led by Domenic Valarioti.  This 18-member band will perform classics from the swing era, including the music of Count Basie and Frank Sinatra.
• Pricing: $15, $10 for students

• Where/When: Reagle Music Theatre, 617 Lexington St., Waltham, Sunday, 2 p.m.
• Why Go: This show, featuring Alec Mazo and Edyta Sliwinska from “Dancing With The Stars,” infuses ballroom dance with the latest hip-hop styles.  The performance was conceived and choreographed by Emmy- nominated choreographer Louis Van Amstel.
• Pricing: $35-$50

• Where/When: Gore Place Society, 52 Gore St., Waltham, Sunday, 3 p.m.
• Why Go: Guitarist Scott Sanchez plays in the Great Hall of the Governor Gore mansion.  Sanchez will perform music by Manuel Ponce, Agustin Barrios, Dave Brubeck, Duke Ellington and other composers.
• Pricing: $12 in advance, $15 at the door, $10 for members and students.
