Burlington Author to Speak at Romance Writing Forum in Waltham

Stephanie Haddad, of Burlington, is one of two writers speaking at an author event at the Hovey Players in Waltham.

Editor's note: The following is a press release for an author event happening this Friday at Waltham's Hovey Players. Burlington's own Stephanie Haddad will be reading and discussing her second book. .

Hovey Players announces its first ever sponsored author event, welcoming two local romance authors to its stage. Authors Jessie Olson of Worcester and of Burlington will read selections from their novels, answer questions, and sign copies. The event will be held at the theater on Friday, Feb. 17, beginning at 8 p.m. Avid readers, lovers of romance, and aspiring writers are encouraged to attend.

Jessie Olson, author of An Ever Fixéd Mark, lives in Worcester. She has worked at various museums and historic sites, giving tours and exploring the neglected corners of the past. Stephanie Haddad, author of the novels A Previous Engagement and Love Unlisted, lives in Burlington, where she is a busy work-from-home mother. She has been writing all her life but didn’t complete her first novel until 2008. From then on, she was hooked on happy endings and stories about love. The cost of tickets for this event is $5 per person, payable at the door. Hovey Players is located at 9 Spring Street in Waltham, MA.
