Belmont, MA – January 28, 2014 - Tod Beaty and Davis Rowley, managers of Hammond Real Estate’s Belmont office located at 84 Leonard Street, recently announced the addition of Laura Segal to the Belmont team.

Segal is a New York State native who lived in Chicago prior to settling in Watertown, where she resides with her husband and three children. A graduate of Skidmore College and the Harvard University Graduate School of Design, Segal is active within the Watertown community.  She is President of the Watertown Cultural Council, serves on the Board of Directors at the Arsenal Center for the Arts, and volunteers for Watertown Public Schools. In her spare time, Segal can be found cheering her kids on at the ice rink, fields, and courts, or walking her dog along the Charles River.

Prior to her real estate career, Segal spent over two decades in the professional worlds of architecture and fine arts. As an architect, she specialized in high-end residential work in both the Northeast and Midwest. In addition, Segal’s works as an accomplished artist grace the walls of many private homes throughout the United States.

Segal brings to her real estate practice an intimate understanding of houses, along with a broad network of associates in design, construction, and home financing. Her passion for working with clients to create a home, combined with her heightened attention to detail, aesthetic sensibility, and uncompromising work ethic, provide them with an exceptionally personal and focused real estate experience. As a Hammond agent, Segal looks forward to utilizing her broad skill-set and Hammond’s unique marketing platform to help her clients achieve their real estate goals.

Davis Rowley said, “Laura’s previous experience in architecture, design, and project management is an absolute benefit to her clients as they consider the purchase or sale of a home. She has a trained eye as both an architect and artist, and we look forward to witnessing her many successes as a Hammond agent.”

In addition to the Belmont and Cambridge Offices, Hammond has three Boston locations and twelve suburban branch offices. Collectively, Hammond's seventeen office network generates over two billion dollars in sales volume annually, and is well-known as the publisher of the region’s finest magazines featuring local properties for sale. In 2012, Hammond ranked nationally as one of the top 100 real estate companies based on productivity per agent and overall sales volume. Hammond was also recognized in 2013 by The Boston Globe as a “top place to work” company. The Belmont office is the exclusive Regents representative of the Luxury Real Estate network.
