Waltham Company Gets $10 Million to Market Latest Service

QuantiaMD designs software to improve collaboration between physicians.

Waltham-based QuantiaMD Inc., has raised more than $10 million to “help market its latest service,” according to The Boston Globe.

QuantiaMD, which designs software to improve collaboration between physicians, will receive $7.5 million from venture capital firm Safeguard Scientifics of Wayne, PA, reported The Globe.

QuantiaMD recently launched Web-based software that allows hospitals and health care providers “to create private online communities where they can instruct doctors on practice strategies aimed at improving patient outcomes,” reported The Globe.
