Waltham Bar Gets A Visit From A Special Guest

Troy Brown visits Waltham!

A former New England Patriot paid a visit to Waltham last week for a little fun!

Former Patriots wide receiver Troy Brown partied at the Shopper's Cafe on Moody Street on Friday, Jan. 27 to party and promote Narragansett Beer, of which he is a part owner, according to manager Lauren Rutledge.

Shopper's Cafe won the beer company's contest which had people 21 and over vote for their favorite bar, according to Rutledge. The contest ended on Jan. 1.

The bar went all out to win the contest, sending e-mails to customers, Facebook messages and tweets asking them to vote for Shopper's Cafe, according to Rutledge.

As a result, Brown showed up at Shopper's Cafe on Friday night posed for pictures, had a Naragansett Beer and some fun!
