As a waltham resident who lives near this intersection, it's a shame that it is not being developed. sort of an eyesore there right now.

This has been undeveloped for about 4 years. We all suffer when projects are not planned well. This prime property has a negative impact on the community Jamie Sarkisian

I've been waiting for a Starbucks in Waltham for years now. With all the students and coffee drinkers in this town you would have thought one would have been opened a long time ago. How about in the new development on upper Main Street or near Brandeis?

Beryl, I'm sure a Starbucks would do very well in Waltham, but they would have to have a darn good traffic plan to get their permits approved.

It was nice to see them finally doing something there. Hopefully the cancellation doesn't mean that they'll stop.

They wanted to put a Starbucks, Asian restaurant, AND a bank in there?? How would all that ever fit in that corner lot? Let's focus on just getting a Starbucks in there! We are always going up to Lexington for our fix, and it should do enough business on its own--One of the busiest gas stations in New England is right across the street!
