The Waltham Health Department recently inspected many of the city's restaurants. 

The reports are public record and if inspectors find issues, they follow up with future re-inspections to assure the issue is resolved. If the Board of Health finds repeated problems, it can call them for a hearing with the board.

Tara Restaurant, 288 Moody St.: No issues found during a Nov. 5 inspection. 

Charcoal Guido's 482 Moody St.: No issues found during a Nov. 5 inspection. 

Edible Arrangements, 350B Moody St.: No issues found during a Nov. 5 inspection

Burger King, 822 Lexington St.: No issues found during a Nov. 4 inspection.

I find that, in general, the chain restaurants are less apt to have violations, because they have standards and protocols in place to deal with cleanliness and employee hygiene.
