Waltham Farmers' Market Season Starts Soon

This will be the farmers' market twentieth season.

The Waltham Farmers’ Market season will officially kick off soon.

The first market event will be held June 15 and the markets will continue each Saturday through Nov. 9, according to a press release. This will be its twentieth season. 

More than 36 vendors will be selling their products this year, including, fruits, vegetables and baked goods among other times. Patrons can their EBT cards to purchase up to $10 of items. Credit and debit cards will also be accepted, while seniors will receive a 10 percent discount. WIC coupons will be accept by participating vendors.

The markets will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking of the Sovereign Bank on Moody Street.

Eight one-hour concerts will accompany this year’s market season, according to the press release. The concerts will begin at 11 a.m. The Second Line Social Aid & Pleasure Society Brass Band will perform the market’s first concert on June 15.
