When is Robert Downey Jr. Film Being Released?
Robert Downey Jr. and Robert Duvall star in a movie that was partially filmed in Waltham.
The Judge, a movie starring Robert Downey Jr. that was filmed partly in Waltham in 2013, will be released on Oct. 10, according to Deadline.com.
The movie also starts former Law & Order Criminal Intent star Vincent D'Onofrio as well as Robert Duvall.
Downey Jr., Duvall and D'Onofrio all shot scenes in or near the old Wires Department building on Church Street in July 2013. Scenes were also shot at Children's Hospital in Waltham.
The movie tells the story of an attorney, Downey Jr. who returns to his hometown for his mother's funeral only to discover his father, a judge, played by Duvall, is a suspect in a murder case, according to the Boston Globe.
