VIDEO: Time to 'Say Hi' To Your Waltham Neighbor

Help a Waltham-based organization prevent domestic violence and build a greater sense of community!

Waltham-based REACH Beyond Domestic Violence kicked off its “Say Hi To You Neighbor” campaign intended to help build a greater sense of community Waltham.

As part of the campaign, REACH, which assists domestic violence victims, has planned a series of events for Feb. 9 - 16 designed to build relationships between community residents and ultimately help prevent domestic violence. One of those of events includes a “Meet the Waltham Media” will be held on Feb. 15.

REACH is aiming to have residents collectively issue at least 2,013 “Hi” greetings to neighbors. To record your greeting, visit the REACH website.

To kick off the campaign, REACH honored Brand New Watch Blogger Jim Walker, In a Pickle owner Tim Burke and REACH volunteers Jim Preston and Dan Reedy for their work with the organization. Click on the video to the right to see Preston speak about the “Say Hi” project.
