Is Waltham Going to Pick Up Your Christmas Tree?

Some resident have said their Christmas tree had not yet been picked up.

If your Christmas tree has not yet been picked up, be patient. Public works crews are working on it, according to Consolidated Public Works Director Michael Chiasson.

Some Waltham residents (on Twitter and Facebook) have recently complained their trees had not yet been hauled away. Residents reported trees on Sterling Road, Pond End Road and Wellington Street and others had not yet been picked up.

So, what should you do about it?

If you have not yet put your tree out on the curb for pick up, do it.

If your street is littered with several trees that have not yet been picked up, that means pubic works crews have not yet come through the area for pickups. If there are few trees that have not been picked up, call the Consolidated Public Works Department at 781-314-3855.

Chiasson told Waltham Patch city crews have been delayed in picking them up due to recent snow storms.
