We've collected the details of several area Christmas services below. Generally, these are Christmas Eve services and will take place on Dec. 24 unless otherwise noted.

  • Dec. 23, 10:30 a.m. -- Christmas pageant

Weston United Methodist Church

  • 7:30 p.m. - Christmas Eve Candlelight Service

First Baptist Church of Weston (joint service at FBC with the Boston-West Korean Presbyterian Church)

  • 7:30 p.m. -- Christmas Eve Candlelight Service


Trinitarian Congregational Church

  • 5 p.m. -- Family Lessons and Carols Service. "Inspired by the traditional Christmas Eve lessons and carols service, our family oriented service proclaims the gospel story through readings, dramatic vignettes, musical offerings from children and adult choirs, wind trio, and congregational carols led by our worship team.  Children are invited to lead us in the service by offering their art, acting, reading or voices. If your child would like to be involved in the service contact music@tccwayland.org," according to the church website.
  • 7 p.m. -- Candlelight Communion Service. "Our contemplative communion service tells the Christmas story interspersed with organ-led Christmas carols and a Christmas message.  We celebrate communion together as we celebrate the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ," the website reads.

  • 4 p.m. -- Annual Children's Tableau

Sudbury United Methodist Church offers a 4:00 p.m. Family Service on Christmas Eve with a pageant depicting the story of Jesus' birth. At 6:00 p.m. a traditional Moravian Lovefeast will include carols, cookies, and candles. Finally, at 8:00 p.m., a Service of Word and Table offers carols, Holy Communion, and a candlelit redition of Silent Night.

First Baptist Church of Sudbury 162 Landham Road Christmas Eve Candlelight Service at 5pm. Bring your family and friends and join us as we celebrate Christ's birth through storytelling, beautiful music, singing and candles!
