Help Fight Hunger In Waltham!

Donate food to local organizations to combat hunger in Waltham.

The following was submitted by the Waltham YMCA:

The is teaming up with the Bristol Lodge Soup Kitchen and the Emmanuel Church Food Pantry to support healthy living and fight hunger this fall through the “Get Fit, Give Back” campaign. From Nov. 7 – Nov. 11, new members who bring in five non-perishable food items will have their $50 YMCA joiner fee waived and receive 3 free sessions of health & wellness coaching, valued at $150. Current members who donate will be entered into a raffle for great prizes.

As a cause-driven organization, the Y is committed to youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.

“A strong community can only be achieved when we invest in our kids, our health and our neighbors,” says Donny Bautz, Director of Membership Operations at the Waltham YMCA. “We hope that through ‘Get Fit, Give Back,’ people are encouraged to take a step towards a healthier life and to also help a neighbor in need.”
