REACH Beyond Domestic Violence, a domestic violence assistance organization, will hold a forum on Oct. 21 to address questions from residents about domestic violence, according to the group.

The forum is intended to raise awareness on the signs and causes of domestic violence and resources available for victims, especially in the wake of the murder of Jennifer Martel in Waltham.

The forum, titled "Preventing Domestic Violence:The Waltham Community Responds", will start at 6:30 p.m. at the James McDevitt Middle School at 75 Church St. It will run until 8:30 p.m. Panelists will include REACH representatives, the Middlesex County District Attorney's Office, Emerge - Abuser Education and the Waltham Police Department.
