Watertown Savings Bank Grants $1500 to Cooperative Elder Services

Cooperative Elder Services, Inc. (CESI) recently received a generous $1500 grant from Watertown Savings Bank.  Support from Watertown Savings Bank will provide 250 nutritious meals for low-income and frail elders living in the community.  CESI is a non-profit Adult Day Health organization based in Lexington, with centers located in Arlington, Burlington, Milton, Groton and Concord.  The Arlington center has served elders from the Watertown Savings Bank communities for over 30 years.  Arlington CESI provides a welcoming day-time environment with nursing care, nutrition, meaningful activities, social services, caregiver support and round-trip transportation offered Monday through Saturday.  The mission of CESI is to delay or prevent nursing home placement by promoting health and independence, and enhancing the quality of life for local seniors.  For more information, please call Esther Robbins at 781-641-1070 x2 or visit www.elderdayservices.com
