Reagle Music Theatre of Greater Boston (RMT) announces open auditions for their upcoming 31st anniversary production of ChristmasTime, a holiday season musical revue spectacular, on Saturday, October 26 for children and singers at Waltham High School, 617 Lexington Street, Waltham. All roles are open for casting.
ChristmasTime is heartwarming regional tradition, featuring singing and dancing galore! Children of all ages are enchanted by Santa’s Workshop, Teddy Bears’ Nutcracker, Parade of the Wooden Soldiers, Victorian Christmas, precision dancers and The Living Nativity. A cast of 200 comes gift wrapped in fabulous holiday sets and costumes - all backed by a full live orchestra.

Rehearsals will be held on the four subsequent Saturdays through November 30. Attendance at all rehearsals and performances is mandatory. A parent or guardian should accompany child audition candidates to auditions and every rehearsal.

High school students and adult singers will perform numerous favorite Christmas tunes, carols, and hymns, both old and new throughout our show. Audition candidates should come prepared to sing 16 bars (one verse or chorus) of a popular Christmas song, in their voice part, or a favorite Christmas carol.
Rehearsals will be held twice a week in evening, most likely on Tuesdays and Thursdays through November 30. Attendance at all rehearsals and performances is mandatory.
Performances of ChristmasTime will be held on Friday, December 6 and 13 at 7:30 pm; Saturday, December 7 and 14 at 1 and 5 pm; Sunday, December 8 and 15 at 1 and 5 pm. Tickets are available for $35 to $57. Student rush seats at 50% off are available one hour before curtain with a valid college ID.
