Our Lady's Academy Donates Over 156 Pounds Of Candy To Our Troops

For the past 4 years, Our Lady's Academy students have donated a portion of their Halloween candy to support our troops. The candy is sent to the troops through the organization "Operation Gratitude", who send care packages to our military overseas. This year they donated over 156 pounds of candy!

This donation actually has a bigger meaning than most people realize. In addition to providing a sweet taste of home for our military, deployed service members use the candy to foster good relationships with local children.

It's been a great way for students to practice generosity and appreciation for our military. They enjoy being involved with this program, which has become a school tradition.
