Hair Cuttery Raises Over $5000 for The One Fund Boston

In tribute to the victims and families affected by the Boston Marathon bombings, Hair Cuttery salons throughout New England, including the salon in Waltham, held a fundraiser to benefit The One Fund Boston.  From April 14-21st, Hair Cuttery donated a portion of the proceeds from all haircuts purchased to The One Fund Boston and was able to raise over $5,000.

“It was amazing to see the huge outpouring of support from our customers throughout New England,” said Dennis Ratner, founder and CEO of Hair Cuttery.  “The money donated to The One Fund Boston is going to give the victims and families affected by the Marathon bombings the continued support they need to recover from this horrific tragedy.  We’re just happy we could play a small part in the recovery process.”

Hair Cuttery has an established legacy of charitable giving.  The company supports a number of national and local causes, including: Dress for Success, American Cancer Society, Special Olympics, Buzzing 4 Change, National Kidney Foundation, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, and Locks of Love.
