Doctors Express Waltham Hires Seasoned Medical Director, Dr. Kristina Orio

Waltham, MA - October 15th – Doctors Express, an efficient and convenient urgent care facility in Waltham, has announced that Dr. Kristina E. Orio will assume the role of Medical Director, effective today.  Open just under one year, Doctors Express Waltham has served thousands of urgent care patients in the Metro West area while maintaining an average wait time under 10 minutes and with an average cost under one-fifth that of an Emergency Room visit.

Dr. Orio is a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician at South Shore Hospital, a regional trauma center in Weymouth, Massachusetts. She is a graduate of the prestigious Wellesley College, with a degree in bio-chemistry, and of the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medical School where she further pursued her medical studies and was the recipient of a highly-competitive Health Professions Scholarship awarded by the United States Air Force.  Dr. Orio is also a decorated field-grade military veteran who treated many of our wounded heroes on the battlefield as an Emergency Medicine combat physician in Iraq.
