A 14-year-old Waltham girl who was hit and then dragged beneath a car on Lexington Street in late January was released from the hospital Friday after seven weeks, according WHDH/7News.

Jennifer Bermudez Teo underwent five surgeries at the Franciscan Hospital for Children in Brighton to repair broken ribs, a broken pelvis and clavicle suffered in the crash, according to the news station. Teo will need more surgeries as well.
