Learn More About Ducks in Waltham on Tuesday

The event begins at 7 p.m. at the Waltham Public Library.

The Waltham Land Trust will hold a seminar on ducks at the Waltham Public Library on Jan. 21. The event begins at 7 p.m.

"At this slideshow presentation of the Waltham Land Trust, participants will see the difference between hooded and common mergansers, buffleheads, ring necks, golden eyes and other waterfowl that visit the Charles River during winter months. A hand out will be provided so that folks can be bird nerds on their own, or help the Land Trust identify waterfowl on the annual Duck Walk along the Charles River, which will take place on Saturday, January 25," their announcement reads.
