Waltham Youth Baseball is holding it's annual Joseph Nipper and Alice Maher 4th of July Invitational Tournament. Games are played from 6/28/12-7/1/12, and opening ceremonies are 12pm on Saturday, 6/30 at Nipper Maher Park on Dartmouth Street. Teams participating are from Waltham, Newton, Hudson, Weston, Marblehead, Natick, Winchester, and Amherst, Ontario, Canada. Voluteers are greatly needed for scoring, field crew and concessions. More About Nipper Maher Park
The Nipper Maher Park is located on Dartmouth Street, off of South Street. The park features basball fields, a tennis court and basketball court. This field is also used by Waltham High and other little league teams for baseball. There are public restrooms available during baseball season.
