The next meeting of the Waltham Democratic City Committee will be held on Thursday, June 14th, at 7:00PM, at the Waltham Government Center Auditorium, 119 School Street, Waltham.

The special guest speaker will be State Senator Jamie Eldridge, who will speak about his efforts to advance an amendment to the United States Constitution to overturn the Supreme Court’s controversial Citizens United ruling. Senator Eldridge is one of the lead sponsors of Senate Bill 772, “A Resolution Restoring Free Speech.” This resolution asks the Congress of the United States to send to the states a constitutional amendment that would limit the right of free speech to citizens, not corporations. The public is welcomed to attend.
