  Josiah Smith Tavern in Weston\, MA. The Land's Sake Supper Club is a mo
 nthly series of gourmet dinners expertly prepared by a local chef featur
 ing fresh produce from Land's Sake Farm and other nearby farms. Each mon
 thly three-course dinner at the Barn highlights a seasonal theme served 
 family style to 40 guests in an historic tavern.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;\nPlease n
 ote:&nbsp\;Supper Club dinners are BYOB. Please feel free to bring the b
 everage of your choice.\nCost:&nbsp\;$55 for Land's Sake members and $70
  for non-members.\nReservations:&nbsp\;Registration and pre-payment requ
 ired. Only 40 reservations per event. Please use our&nbsp\;online regist
 ration system. If you would like to first&nbsp\;become a member&nbsp\;of
  Land's Sake and make your reservation at the reduced member rate\, we'd
  be very happy to count you among our strong supporters. Memberships sta
 rt at $50. Also\, in most cases special dietary needs can be a accommoda
 ted.\nCancellations:&nbsp\;Because seating is limited and food is purcha
 sed in advance\, we cannot guarantee full refunds for cancellations made
  less than a week prior to the event. In the event you must cancel late\

 ef:&nbsp\;Chris Chung is executive chef at the new&nbsp\;AKA Bistro&nbsp
 \;in Lincoln\, MA\, winner of a Best of Boston 2011 award.&nbsp\; Chris 
 was born in Honolulu\, but grew up in Macao\, a former Portuguese colony
  where food was often a combination of influences from east and west\, a
 nd Chung became intrigued by it at a very early age. Chung&rsquo\;s fami
 ly returned to Hawaii where Chris was educated and spent summers in vari
 ous Japanese restaurant kitchens on Oahu.&nbsp\; A meeting with James Be
 ard Award-winning chef Kenneth Oringer in 2004 led to UNI\, an intimate 
 sashimi bar adjacent to Oringer&rsquo\;s CLIO in Boston\, where Chung se
 rved as chef.&nbsp\; Chung lived and worked in Los Angeles for a few yea
 rs\, but returned to UNI in 2009 and was named a Rising Star Chef that s
 ame year.&nbsp\; In 2010\, Chung left UNI to open AKA in suburban Lincol
 n\, MA with his business partner Christian Touche.
