Join us during Waltham Open Studios, for an evening with world-renowned letterpress artist John M. Carrera. For over a decade Carrera painstakingly restored the original images from the first Webster's dictionaries in his Waltham studio. The result was the imagistic masterpiece Pictorial Webster's Dictionary, the bestselling letterpress-based book in America in half a century.
Carrera returns to Waltham in celebration of the release of the Pictorial Webster's Pocket Dictionary, in advance of a forthcoming Spring show at the Museum of Contemporary Art in North Adams, Massachusetts.
