Duck Walk Warm Up
Get prepared for WLT's Duck Walk (on January 27) by viewing slides of waterfowl frequently found along the Charles River. We’ll review common and hooded mergansers, ring neck and golden eye ducks, coots, and all the others who fly down from Canada each winter.
More About City of Waltham Public Library
The Waltham Public Library was founded in 1865 when Francis Buttrick, a Waltham citizen, donated enough money for the library building to be constructed. Its collection includes more than 155,000 books and 400 magazines and newspapers, with plenty of space to quietly sit with them. The audio/visual collection houses a whopping 22,000 CDs and 18,000 DVDs and video tapes.
The library is open seven days a week and allows members to access their accounts on their home computer. Metered parking is available behind the library.
