Whether you are new to meditation, or an experienced meditator, you are welcome to attend meetings of the Waltham Buddhist Meditation Group at First Parish.  Meetings are on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month in the Chapel with meditation from 7 to 8 PM and then discussion afterwards.. 

This is a drop-in group; you do not need to commit to regular attendance.  The group is open to people who are not members of First Parish.  While there is no charge to participate, we are requesting that non-members donate $5 per session to defray the cost of using the church. 

Please be seated and ready to start at 7 PM, when instruction will be given.  You may sit in one of the chairs in the chapel, or bring your own meditation cushion.  We will do sitting meditation for 25 minutes, then 10 minutes of walking meditation, followed by sitting for another 25 minutes.  If you do arrive late, please come in quietly, take a seat and join us.

Emily Weidman and Michael Levin, who have been co-leading a meditation group at First Parish in Nashua, NH, will be leading this group and providing instruction in meditation.
