A woman has been charged with .
The woman, whose named was not released because the charges are still in the process of being filed, will faces charges of speeding, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, operating to endanger, leaving the scene of property damage, leaving the scene of personal injury, making an improper turn and failing to stop at a stop sign, according to Waltham Police Detective Sgt. Joseph Guigno. The woman is also charged with failure to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk and using a motor vehicle without permission.
The woman later turned herself into police, Guigno said. The victim suffered internal injuries, head trauma, a broken leg and injuries to the pelvis, Guigno said.

The charges stem from a Wednesday, Nov. 23 incident where a motorist struck a pedestrian at the intersection of School and and Church streets at 6 p.m.
Witnesses told WCVB a speeding blue SUV struck a parked car and that the car slammed into the pedestrian.
