Waltham Democrats To Elect New Delegates

Delegates will go to convention.

 

The Waltham Democratic City Committee will soon elect new delegates at a state convention.

Registered Democrats will in Ward 1-9 will hold caucuses on Feb. 11 at 10 a.m. at the Northeast Elementary School, according to announcement from the committee. The delegates will attend the 2012 Massachusetts Democratic Convention and their U.S. Senate Nominating Convention on Saturday, June 2 in Springfield. 

All registered Democrats living in Waltham are welcomed to attend. Delegates will be divided equally into men and woman and the vote will be a secret ballot. Youth, minorities and those will disabilities who are not elected as delegates are encouraged to apply as  “add-on” delegates.
