Why is Waltham Woman Suing Weston Golf Club?
A Waltham woman is suing a Weston golf club for some alleged sexual acts.
A Waltham woman is suing the Weston Golf Club claiming an employee sexually harassed her, according to the Boston Herald.
Monique Karian quit her job as a waitress at the Weston Golf Club in 2011 after a chef there allegedly groped her while other male workers cheered him on, according to the newspaper. She also claims employees called her names.
Karian's attorney, William T. Harrington, claimed the club never investigated the allegations, according to the Herald. The club's attorney claimed Karian is "paranoid" and is assuming the club workers were talking about her when they called her names.
Now, a federal judge in Boston is mulling the club's request to dismiss the suit, according to the paper.

TheHam,
Really? Do you have proof of that? There are laws against that: http://www.lawlib.state.ma.us/subject/about/sexualharassment.html

My proof is in the facts- A massachusetts business asking a bunch of employees who may or may not like this woman constitutes an investigation (at least in their eyes). My proof is the fact that a company in Massachusetts would rather push for this to be dismissed to save their reputation, rather than investigate the seriousness of the claim. This is not the first sexual abuse claim that's been dismissed in MA. I can find you the articles i've come across just in the past two months- it's shocking.

not to mention when you have a representative who says on live television, "It's not illegal to be illegal in Massachusetts", you can take that any way you want- which is what i've done as a citizen of MA.

TheHam,
I suggest rereading your comments. This IS NOT a sexual abuse case. This is sexual harassment -- two VERY different types of cases. Please have facts in hand before you comment.
