Flu Shots Still Available In Some Waltham Stores

Some stores in Waltham still have flu shots available.

 

With a widespread outbreak of the flu in the Boston area, several Waltham stores, as of Jan. 14, still had flu shots available, according to a check of local pharmacies.

Walgreens -- Flu shots available as of Jan. 14

CVS (Lexington Street) -- Flu shots still available as of Jan. 14.

CVS (Linden Street) -- No flu shots available as of Jan. 14, except for individuals over 65.

CVS (Harvard Street) -- No flu shots available as of Jan. 14.

Doctors Express -- Flu shots still available as of Jan. 14.

Mount Auburn Hospital will hold a free flu shot clinic on Jan. 16 - 17 from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. at the Belmont Savings Bank in Belmont Center, according to a press release.

NOTE: Please call your doctor or pharmacy to verify flu shot availability before leaving to get a shot. 

Last week, the city's health department said it had 104 reported cases of the flu.
