Waltham's Social Media Saturday
Every Saturday we look at the week that was on Waltham Patch's Facebook and Twitter feeds.
Here at Waltham Patch we take social media pretty seriously.
The platform is one way we look to interact with you, answer your questions and get to see what's on your mind. Social Media Saturday is a weekly feature where we highlight your questions and thoughts you've shared on Facebook and other media throughout the past week.
We'll also point you to some new and interesting pages you may not have known about before.
Highlights Of The Week
- Waltham Patch's Facebook page's popularity continued to rise. At the end of this week, Patch had 254 likes, wherease we had 239 at the end of last week. Among the new likes is John McLaughlin.
- Patch received an interesting comment from reader Kelly Hancock: "AC Moore, JC Penny, Christmas Tree shop, Marshalls," she said in response to Patch asking readers what stores should be built at the site of the old Polaroid site.
Social Media Page of the Week
Each week we will highlight a Facebook or other social media page related to Waltham. This could be a business, an organization or a town page. If you have a recommendation for a page to highlight email firstname.lastname@example.org or tell us on Facebook.
This week's choice is the page of the VESCONE, a local emergency care center for pets.. They are constantly updating the community with warnings of scams and road work issues.
