John Orr, 21, of Waltham: “I think we’ll be safer in the United States but not internationally. I think there will be strikes against U.S. bases and embassies in other countries.”
Juan Escober, 19, of Waltham: “Less safe cause they’re probably going to be pissed.”
Anne Schwertzer, 23, of West Newton: “I don’t think it’s going to be any more safe of less safe. Terrorism already exists. It existed before him and it will exist after him.”
Jay Leger, 29, of Waltham: “Safer. He was Al-Qaeda’s main man. Al-Qaeda will be less strong without him. It’s like if the Celtics lost KG, they’re less dangerous right now.”
Peter Trefonas, 22, of Waltham. “The same. There are still a bunch of other terrorists.”
Clay Budden, 79, of Waltham: “Less safe. There’s more of a chance they will attack now. The more we aggravate them, the more they’ll want to retaliate against us.”

I wanted to see the photos of Osama bin Laden after he was shot! But I understand why our government will not release them, as it could make the U.S. look bad and spark more terrorism. The U.S. does not want to seem like we are gloating over his death, necessary though it was. Kudos to our brave Navy Seals!
