Waltham Public Schools Cancelled for Friday
Waltham schools will be closed Feb. 8 due to the impending snow storm.
The Waltham Public Schools will be closed on Friday, Feb. 8, according to the schools' website, due to the snow storm that is expected to hit the area on Friday and into Saturday.
The storm could dump in the vicinity of two feet of snow on Waltham, and the city has declared a snow emergency.

Beginning Fri AM, picking up in intensity during the day, the worst of it will be Fri PM-Sat AM. The mayor of Boston had recommended that people be off the roads no later than noon.
