Police have cleared the area around CVS locations in Waltham.

Waltham and State Police just responded to a report of an armed robbery at a CVS Pharamacy, but authorities did not find any crime had occured at either the CVS on Lexington Street or the Harvard Street location, according to scanner reports.

While details are still sketchy, Waltham Police received a report via text message of an armed robbery at a CVS in Waltham. Officers responded to both the CVS on Harvard Street and location on Lexington Street, but did not find any incident had occurred, according to scanner reports and Patch correspondent Matthew Carter.

Police have cleared both areas and are speaking with the person who reported the robbery, who was standing in or near Hannaford's on Main Street, according to scanner reports and Carter.

It's not clear whether officers responded to the Linden Street CVS.

According to the police the reporting party pointed out the CVS on Harvard Street @ Main Street as where she thought the crime was happening.
