Waltham Men Charged in Newton Home Invasion Held Without Bail

The two Waltham men were arrested early Friday morning and charged with armed burglary.

Two Waltham men who are charged in connection with a Friday morning home invasion in West Newton were held without bail today pending a dangerousness hearing in Newton District Court.

According to Middlesex District Attorney Spokeswoman Cara O'Brien, Vincenzo Paul Alonge, 22, of 91 Lauricella Lane, and Richard Edward Siciliano, 29, of 44 Wamsutta Ave., will appear on January 4 for the dangerousness hearing.

Police allege Alonge and Siciliano were the masked suspects who robbed a Harvey Place home early Friday morning, a residence that was targeted during an armed home invasion Monday night.

Alonge and Siciliano are charged with armed burglary, use of a firearm in a felony and carrying a firearm without a license. Alonge was also charged with possession of a Class E substance, police said.
