Waltham Memorial Day Events Being Held This Week
Don't forget to pay tribute to a local veteran.
Wednesday, May 23
Students at Plympton Elementary School will place flags at Mount Feake Cemetery at 12:30 p.m.
Thursday, May 24
Students from the Henry J. Whittemore students will place flags at the graves of veterans at 10 a.m. at Calvary Cemetery on Calvary Street.
Saturday, May 26
Veterans of the National Guard and Boy Scout's will place flags at 9:45 a.m. at Mount Feake Cemetery's lower lot.
Sunday, May 27
The John M. Sullivan Memorial Service will be held at 9 a.m. at the intersection of Lake and Lincoln streets.
Our Lady's of Comforter of the Afflicted Church will hold a memorial service for veterans at 11 a.m.
Monday, May 28
The Gold Star Mothers will hold a memorial service at 9 a.m. at the Prospect Street bridge.
A Memorial Day service will be held at 10 a.m. on the City Common.
