Waltham Man Gets One Year in Prison for Dealing Cocaine

A Waltham man has been sentenced to a year in prison for conspiring to deal cocaine, according to Boston.com

John Thibedeau, 48, of Waltham, was given a one year prison sentence and three years of supervised release. During an Aug. 10 hearing at the federal courthouse in Boston, Thibedeau was also ordered to pay a $1,000 fine and forfeit $1,646.

In September 2011, Thibedeau and three others were indicted on charges that they used a Somerville branch of the Post Office to deal cocaine.

During a plea hearing, prosecutors presented audi and video records of all four men dealing cocaine, according to Boston.com.
