Waltham Man Arrested in Westborough For Driving Offenses
Also, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has an immigration detainer on the suspect.
A man arrested by Westborough Police on Thursday, Aug. 9 for motor vehicle infractions is also eyed by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, according to Westborough Police Chief Alan Gordon.
Alexandre Queiroz Do Norte, 23, of 20 Lexington Terrace, Apt. C, Waltham was arrested at 12:17 p.m. Thursday on Turnpike Road by Officers Tyson Delong and Jeffrey Johnson, according to the police log.
Police saw Do Norte driving "through the Shell gas station on Route 9 at Lyman Street, using it to avoid the red light," Gordon said.
Police charged Do Norte with trespassing with a motor vehicle, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and furnishing police with a false name/Social Security number.
They also arrested him on a straight warrant from Duxbury Police for motor vehicle violations, including driving without a license and providing police with a false name, Gordon said.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement has an immigration detainer on Do Norte, who is originally from Brazil, Gordon said. An "immigration detainer" is a request from ICE to another law enforcement agency that they be notified before a suspect is released so that ICE can take custody of the suspect, according to the Immigration Policy Center.

Good luck with that. Under Obama's new immigration policies the arrest means little. He didn't do anything wrong. A false SSN? So what, lot's of illegal immigrants have those - the police shouldn't have even asked. You and I can't have those but it seems illegal immigrants can have lots of things most folks ordinarily wouldn't have. UCLA for example is offering reduced tuition, about $4000 less, to illegal immigrants. I'm pretty sure most of our forebears did not come here in this manner with this kind of mentality. If they had nothing would've been built.

No, Charles, it pertains to any illegal under 30 who was brought here as a child by their illegal parents. Stop with your bullying talking points and insults for those who don't share your world view.

Charles, explain to us how we would know (with 100% accuracy) how old an illegal immigrant is? ....go ahead, we'll wait.
