UPDATED: Elderly Woman Taken To Hospital After Waltham Crash
The crash took place on Second Avenue.

UPDATED, 3:12 p.m.: An 80-year-old woman was transported to a Boston hospital for treatment of her injuries in the crash, according to Waltham Police Sgt. Tim King. Police are on the scene reconstructing the crash, King said.

Waltham firefighters are responding to a report of a car crash on Second Avenue, reportedly with serious injuries, according to scanner and Twitter reports.
A car reportedly struck a utility pole near 135 Second Ave, according to Twitter reports.
