Waltham Arrest Log, Jan. 10 - 11: Assault, Theft Arrests

The following information was supplied by the Waltham Police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

 

Thursday, Jan. 10 

Joshua McBirney, 21, of Lynn, arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

Gerald McHugh, 50, of Newton, arrested and charged with two counts of failing to stop or yield, speeding in violation of a special regulation, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, driving an unregistered motor vehicle, a one-way street violation, failing to stop for police, a number plate violation, driving an uninsured car and driving with a suspended license.

Anthony Taranto, 27, of 78 Harvard St., arrested and charged with three counts of credit card fraud under $250, breaking and entering (nighttime felony), larceny over $250, three counts of larceny of a motor vehicle and a warrant charge for receiving stolen property.

Friday, Jan. 11 

John Carvallo, 54, of 59 Farwell St., arrested on warrant charges for assault with a dangerous weapon and assault and battery.

Luke Penton, 28, of 651 Loretta Rd., arrested and charged with assault and battery and witness intimidation.
