Waltham Animal Care Center Closing

Vetcision's last day is May 31.

A Waltham emergency animal care center has announced it is permanently closing, according to its Facebook page.

Vetcision, located on Second Avenue, made the announcement early on Friday saying May 31 would be its last day.

"It's a sad day here at Vetcision, because at 6:00pm we will be closing our doors for good. The staff would like to thank our loyal clients for their support over the years! You and your pets will be missed by each and every one of us, and they will hold a special place in our hearts. Dr. Huss will still be doing mobile surgeries in the area so if your pet needs surgery please ask your veterinarian to call Dr. Huss to set up a consultation," the Vetcision statement reads. "We would also like to give our thanks to the best staff any hospital could ask for! The dedication, love, and passion you all showed will never be matched or forgotten. Good luck to all of you in the future!"
