What Should Go Into Empty Waltham Storefront?
38 Warren St. in Waltham is ripe or a new tenant. What do you think should go in there?
For this week's Visions for Vacancies, we are at 38 Warren St.
The building is accessible by MBTA bus, car and foot and is located in a high-traffic area. Parking surrounds the site. According to city regulations, it could be used for a schcool, church or even retail stores.
What would you like to see move into this site?
CORRECTION: A previous version of this article in correctled asked readers to say what they want to see in the former site of a store on Elm Street.

This entire strip of stores is now empty. I'd like to see it knocked down and converted to housing.

Are you kidding me? The last thing this city needs is more housing.

The city, as all cities, could use more affordable housing.

We have met our affordable housing requirement to be able to repel future 40B developments.

I'd like to see a coffee shop and bakery for commuters at this location.

Hi Kristine,
Thanks for catching that. I too would like a coffee shop, but NOT a chain. I would like a locally-owned coffee house.
