Theft of Young Girl's iPhone During Church Service Leads To Waltham

A Medford woman is charged with swiping a girl's iPhone during Sunday church services.

 

Waltham Police arrested a 61-year-old Medford woman for allegedly stealing an iPhone from a 12-year-old girl in during church services in Arlington. 

Toni Miller, 61, of 33 Wedgemere Rd., Medford, outside of a Waltham church and charged the individual with receiving stolen property over $250.

The girl told Arlington Police that she had left her belongings, including her phone, in the back room of St. Camillus Church during the 9 a.m. service in which she was an alter server.

Using an app on her phone, the girl and her father were able to track her phone to Waltham where they called police.
