UPDATED, 3:23 p.m.: State Police now say the child, a young girl, is conscious and has been transported to Children's Hospital in Boston.

State Police are responding to the Fernald Center on Trapelo Road for a report of a possible drowning of a 10-year-old child.
Police have pulled the child from a swimming pool, but the kid is in "medical distress," according to State Police.
