Second Waltham Condo Theft Defendant Pleads Not Guilty

Preston Correa faces serious charges for allegedly helping to steal $350,000 from a Waltham condominium association.

 

A Fitchburg man accused of helping his ex-wife steal $350,000 from a Waltham condominium association pleaded not guily during a Friday, Sept. 7 arraignment hearing in Middlesex Superior Court, according to the Middlesex County District Attorney's Office. 

Preston Correa, 40, is facing three counts of larceny over $250 for allegedly helping his ex-wife, Lesley Correa, embezzel $350,000 from the Glenmeadow Condomium Association and complex on Lexington Street. 

Preston Correa previously served as the complex's property manager while his ex-wife served as the bookkeeper. Both were later fired.

Preston Correa was released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to return to court for a pre-trial hearing on Sept. 21, according to the DA's office.

Lesley Correa pleaded not guilty to similar charges last month.
