A Fitchburg man has been charged for his role in allegedly stealing $350,000 from the Glenmeadow Condominium Association, according to the Middlesex County Distrit Attorney's Office.

Preston Correa, 40, of Fitchburg, has been indicted by a Middlesex Superior Court grand jury on three counts of larceny over $250. Correa, the ex-husband of Lesley Correa who is also charged in the case, is scheduled to be arraigned on Sept. 7. 

Preston Correa previously served as a property manager at the condo complex on Lexington Street, while Lesley Correa, served as its bookkeeper, according to the DA's office. Both were fired from their postiions in January of 2012, according to the DA's office..

Lesley Correa was indicted on related charges earlier this month and was later released from custody on personal recognizance, according to the DA's office. She has pleaded not guilty.  

Condo officials, after the Correas delayed handing over financial records to an accountant in August of 2011, discovered that association funds had been used to pay personal expenses, such as trips to Target, Wal-Mart utility bills and other items, according to the DA.
